I am absolutely storming ahead now in my training and my fundraising. I was up and out by 7am this morning for a 3 hour run covering 14 lonely miles! Running alone has its benefits; I can train at my own pace and go into my ‘zone’ so that I can focus. However, when the pain really kicks in (which it did today half way through) it can get lonely. Focusing on my distance goal takes immense mental energy and discipline as well as physical. So you can imagine how thrilled I was when I got home today and totted up my fundraising total….
